Rice University Veterans Business Battel

I'm so excited to share our experience at the Rice University Veterans Business Battle competition! As a startup veteran-owned and operated by two women of color, Linda Vaughan and I were pumped to pitch our latest product, Wanderer - a self-refilling water bottle that we're taking to market.

Pitch day was on April 22, a Saturday, and let me tell you - the energy was electric! We were surrounded by so many talented individuals with incredible business ideas. It was an honor to be a part of such a dynamic group of entrepreneurs, and we were determined to make our mark.

Being a contestant among so many talented individuals was an experience of a lifetime. We learned so much from the other participants and were able to gain valuable insights into what it takes to succeed in the business world. This competition has given us the confidence and skills we need to compete in our next big event - the IEG MEC competition coming up in July! We're ready to bring our A-game and make Wanderer the next big thing!
